Kendal Fencing Club is open to all aged 13 years and above and meets every Wednesday evening 19:30 – 21:00 (except in August), in the main hall of the Kendal Parish Hall. We are a small, friendly club comprising approximately 20 regular fencers of all abilities and ages ranging from total beginners to competition fencers.
Our Wednesday evenings might typically consist of:
- Simple warm up / stretching exercises
- Footwork practise
- Coaching either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Free fencing (electric or steam)
Kendal Fencing Club invites fencers of all abilities to join us on our club nights whether on a permanent or visiting basis. Absolute beginners are always encouraged to join us and take up fencing as they are the future lifeblood of the sport.
